ARE YOU AN ANIMAL LOVER? If so, let's work together for their welfare. I'll paint a head and shoulders pastel portrait of your pet from your photograph for $150, which I will donate to the animal charity of my choice. Payment may be made in installments for those who prefer that arrangement.

About the Artist

Jeanne Banks has had a long career in Texas as a portrait painter and a sculptor. She graduated from SMU with a Fine Arts degree, and has also been active as an art teacher at Dallas’ Ursuline Academy and with the Reeder School of Theater and Design in Fort Worth.

She was born in Fort Worth and spent most of her adult years in Dallas. She now resides in Arlington, Texas. She is the mother of five children, two of whom now reside in and near Lockhart, Texas. As a lover of animals, she has long been a regular contributor to the ASPCA and more recently to Lockhart’s Cause for Paws.
